We celebrate Ganesh festival. Most of the people celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. We have been celebrating Ganpati festival since 1893. The celebration of Ganesh festival is started by Shri Lokmanya Tilak. Purpose of this festival is to gather people to have national pride and affection. In Ganpati festival we have to decorate our house, then bring a murti of Ganpati Bappa and perform aarti of Ganpati Bappa and after a celebration of few days we do the visarjan after performing Puja. We generally celebrate the festival and rituals of Ganpati Bappa for 1 and half days, 5 days, 7 days or 10 days.
